Puffing Billy is a perfectly distilled, unfiltered barley vodka. The Puffing Billy line, a product of The Borders Distillery, is named in honour of the unique still that is essential to its creation.
The wonderful flavour and texture of their locally-grown barley would be lost through regular filtering, so instead the spirit is heated through charcoal inside the still itself and never filtered as a liquid.
The only vodka produced in the world using this method, this vodka has a texture that is incredibly creamy and full of flavour.
