Scottish single malt whisky is produced at the Auchentoshan Distillery in the west. Auchentoshan's name, which means "corner of the field," is derived from the Gaelic phrase Achadh an Oisein.
While triple distillation requires more time and money, it results in a flavour that is greatly enhanced. All of their products have through this process.
A wide selection of flavourful and distinctive whiskies are available from them.
