The creator of Valentia Drinks is a Spaniard named Alfonso Zapater. Alfonso has spent his whole professional life working in the hospitality and beverage industries.
After moving to Scotland, he used his vast knowledge and experience, his money, and a loan from two Scottish families in West Lothian, where he started Valentia Drinks in 2014.
The brand is named after Alfonso's grandfather, who oversaw a soft drink business that produced a lemonade known as "La Flor de Valencia" during the Spanish Civil War.
Their vodka and gin are authentic expressions that combine Scottish and Spanish roots.
