I've been desperately searching for a lovage cordial that was reminiscent of the old Phillip's of Bristol one, for my uncle, who enjoys it with a bit of brandy. I called all the local off-licences and wine shops and went in every pub I passed to see if they might have a dusty old bottle tucked away on a shelf somewhere with no joy. I bought another brand and it was nowhere near what he was looking for. He and my aunty live on one of the Hebridean isles and there aren't many places for them to search up there to find it. Then I saw the review of yours and had to get it. I received a message yesterday with a photo of him raising a glass and my aunty said it's as good as the original! (And it's stronger!)
