Coqlicorne's small, artisanal distillery is located in a former cider house in the peaceful village of Nogent-le-Bernard, near the Perche National Park. The name Coqlicorne derives from the two national animals of the company's founders, the Gallic Rooster representing France and the Unicorn, the national symbol of Scotland. They have a 100% copper still handmade in Portugal by craftsmen with years of experience in manufacturing quality stills.
