I've been desperately searching for a lovage cordial that was reminiscent of the old Phillip's of Bristol one, for my uncle, who enjoys it with a bit of brandy. I called all the local off-licences and wine shops and went in every pub I passed to see if they might have a dusty old bottle tucked away on a shelf somewhere with no joy. I bought another brand and it was nowhere near what he was looking for. He and my aunty live on one of the Hebridean isles and there aren't many places for them to search up there to find it. Then I saw the review of yours and had to get it. I received a message yesterday with a photo of him raising a glass and my aunty said it's as good as the original! (And it's stronger!)

Takes me back to a holiday in Gran Canaria with my mother, we were given this lovely liqueur every time we went for a meal out, ive been struggling to buy it here in UK, so pleased with it.
Been a while since I had a bottle of lovage in the cupboard and really looked forward to trying a brandy and lovage to refresh my memory of a fab drink.I wasn't disappointed...it was as I remember from many years ago.delicious.wil be getting some more when this runs out.Thanks to the team for bringing lovage back to the shelves.
